Scalping is a legitimate way to make money in the stock market but what you purposely fail to mention is the amount of capital you need just to buy enough stock to scalp with. To buy 2,000 shares of Tesla at today’s price you’d need $1,326,000. If it moves up $1.00 you make $2,000, but you’re talking about it moving .50 🙄 If someone has 1.3 million bucks they’d be smart to invest it in Tesla, wait for it to get back to its 52 Week high at $1244 then they’d make over 1.6 million profit, instead of 1 or 2 k 🙄 So scalping may be a legitimate way to make money but it’s a foolish way. Even the cheapest stock takes more capital than most people have on hand, and the fact is, less than 10% of day traders and or other novel strategies like scalping make money consistently. 90% end up losing thousands 😂🙄
19:19 This idea that scalping works if you are good at gaming, because you need to be able to think quickly…. Interesting point. How many of us have done a lot of gaming? Millions. There are so many of us that have played an awful lot and are initially attracted to internet trading as another, rather exciting game
But many decent gamers are hotheaded & impatient, not good characteristics for a trader 🙂
An ex-colleague convinced me into stock trading and investment as a means of making more income maybe because of the few commissions she earns bringing people. Sad i fell, My portfolio have been down ever since. Next time, i will first spend my money on myself before investing.
What is the (typical) market psychology behind a breakout after a consolidation or compression? Is one side (Bulls or Bears) simply giving up? Is it typically catalyzed by a news event? Or is something else going on?
I am earning more this year because I have been investing while working at the same time. I invested through PRISCILLA DEARMIN-TURNER, same woman that an anchor kept mentioning on CNBC, and made multiple of my start up capital within three months . She lives here in the USA and she is licensed
clever how he hid the time frame so we don't know the chart's numbers. I wonder what is the EMA shown? Besides that, what is the EMA per time frame? I thought he said a 9 EMA per the 1-minute chart. Did I understand that correctly? And what chart is his in-&-outs?
Very nice video. It would seem that you would want more indicators to help you confirm your method. These days the programs are like autopilot for your trading brain. Consistency to the plan. But, you are the guys the big accounts, so maybe you hunt differently than me. 🙂
I just watched "An Effective and Highly Profitable Trading Strategy". I never heard of the term "reading the Tape". What is "the Tape" please? Does it mean the candles?
I find that for intraday forex trend trading most important relevant (Guide)trend direction is ON 15 minute, 1h and 4h charts only– For intraday trading weekly & monthly trends do not matter much(too far removed from intraday field of activity) & can be ignored. For simplicity sake if 15 minute ,1h & 4h trends are in the same direction, you have a trade set up in the same direction (one could fine tune entry 0n 5 minute charts). In general if daily candle be in the same direction for any trade it is better but not A must.–Sir, what do you have to say?
When it comes to investing, we want our money to grow with the highest rates of return, and the lowest risk possible. While there are no shortcuts to getting rich, but there are smart ways to go about it
Very informative videos! But what’s the strike point in entry? When it broke consolidation are you buying right on the money or two bucks away from strike?
I drive truck ! as I go down road listings to the videos for many years I have bought sold stocks . How I would like to do better . I need to stop watch videos charts
OK scalping is good to make money but obviously not as good as charging for options classes.
My favorite times to scalp are 9:30, 10:30, and 1 PM.
Nice Method
How do you find the stocks that are going into this type of scalp setup?
Newbie here so forgive me if this is a stupid question but do you trade on margin when scalping?
Finally, someone tells you like it is.

I don't know who needs to hear this but stop saving all your money. Invest some of it if you want financial freedom.
My performance is better when I swing trade
It's funny how the "gurus" are talking about charts that are already over instead of live trading.
