  5. Just a heads up that there are many exchanges available to Canadians (yes, we are blessed in that regard!).

    Before you make a dive into the world of crypto, just do a review of the exchange that you plan on using. Some get better reviews than others, and some have more options available.

    Shakepay is one that we have been using for years with no issues. There is also a bonus that you get free sats for shaking your phone once you refer a new customer to their service.

    As always, please consider moving your coins off the exchange and put it into a wallet as soon as possible. Leaving it on an exchange can be a little risky.

  7. My RBC credit card would not allow me to buy bitcoin. But I could do a cash advance to my bank account and do an e-transfer. I think the credit card companies see the writing on the wall.
